Rees Dance Company is a professional touring company based in Yorkshire.
Creating work since 2015, Rees Dance has worked across Yorkshire with emerging dance artists to create emotive works around sensitive but powerful subjects.
Artistic Director
Professional dancer and choreographer Gavin Rees formed and became Artistic Director of Rees Dance following his varied professional career working for contemporary, ballet and physical theatre companies throughout the UK and Europe.
Workshops
We’re grateful for the opportunity to share our knowledge and creativity. Rees Dance Company has a strong reputation for delivering high quality workshops, masterclasses and residencies to all age groups.
Dynamic and engaging, these workshops are designed for school groups, community youth and adult groups, as well as undergraduate and recent graduate students. Each session includes a company class, guiding participants through a structured warm-up, improvisation, and a series of creative tasks inspired by the choreographic techniques of Rees Dance Company.
